Spent 2 weeks working on Steph’s Zeiss Ikon Contaflex.
Here is a note sheet I made, of course I typed over most of my hand writing so you can read it.
P.S. If i can draw, I wouldn’t be a photographer, laugh all you want, technically you should call this the service doodle.

The diagram is not step by step and cover every aspect, it will help you,
but first YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

In addition, the mechanical sequence.

Cocking: Tighten tension gear, lower mirror and flap, cocking shutter, opening shutter and aperture.

Firing: Let go of the tension gear (every gear retracts), stop down aperture and closes shutter blades, mirror and flap goes up, lever came down far enough to hit the firing lever on shutter, shutter fires.

Joe sent me 4 rolls of Tri X Pan 5063 Expired in 1987

As a matter of fact they look so pretty I didn’t wanna use it. Well besides, I have doubt if anything will show up at all. On the Box is said, Founding Sponsor, Liberty 1886 – 1986. Man this film are just couple of couple years younger than me. Anywho, I don’t have any 400 speed film left at all, so I am forced to find out if these film works at all. Bought the Nikkormat FT with an AIS 1.4 50mm out to sledding at the Coast Guard Park, got some nice stuff. I decided to do a 1 1/2 hour semi stand with Xtol 1+7 to make sure something do show up. Results are decent, slight fog through out and occasionally patches here and there. I am just thrilled that most the the frames showed up.
Here we go.

Probably the best section of the film itself, worked out perfectly. Love the random position of the people and the heavy snow on trees while It’s flat enough u can see under the tree also.

She doesn’t look too happy.

Father and son having fun.

Random Kid wiped out.

Random Kid losing her shoe.

Now she’s happier, or froze up.

I can’t stand on the snow board at all. She did good if she didn’t whine.

Bump!

Nice Catch.

After this random kid came to a  stop he asked what are you taking pictures for?
Ermmm.. nothing I just like to take pictures.

3 Days worth of snow, and 3 days worth of snow blowing. ahem, professionally.

Looks like a monster with many hands, or rolls like jaba the hut.

I bet you lots of these will look great on prints. The Nikkormat didn’t miss a beat out in the cold for Hoursssss, thanks to the guy who donated to me (well it WAS (Semi) broken), not anymore!

Cheers.
