Inspired by a link Dan sent me, I set out to make my own Kodak night light. But instead of using a starflash , which I have one too funny enough, i decided to use a Kodak Brownie Reflex Synchro Model, thinking lets light up the view finders and all the lens. Besides, the shutter speed regulator is not spinning freely anyways.
An hour later……
With a plug at the back.
Yes everything lights up even the red window.
It projects a Triangular light on the wall from the top of the camera.
The light pattern on the ceiling, with shadows from a shelve on the wall.
Of course you can close up the Viewfinder if you don’t want light on the ceiling.
The light actually got brighter projecting from the VF lens.
pretty awesome creation. I’ll have to reddit this. 🙂
I have a starflash or star light (kodak) if you wanna to make one You can wire it right to the where the flash bulb should be at.
This is pretty cool! I want one!
Send me your camera!
