It’s very odd the it’s Feb, the pier and the beach are not FROZEN and inaccessible, it’s rather lively this year.

Kids favorite activity around there, running from rock to rock.

Usually this time of year the beach is about 10 ft+ higher at spots, covered with mostly ice pushing in from Lake Michigan. Instead people are on the beach collecting drift wood.

Even the moon was out.

Lady thinks its romantic, guy’s clearly freezing his b**ls out.

But that doesn’t stop me from snapping.

I was too slow, they were sitting there and now about to go.

No Really, this is what the end of the pier should looks like in March. This was taken about a year or two ago.

Went out for coffee one night at Jumping Java on Washington.

I totally forgot what I cooked. It was rather shallow DOF.

I can’t remember what’s so funny.

At One Eye’d jack for brunch. Can not refuse to turn fire my camera when I see the guy reading the menu.

About 10 seconds later, my 5 year old as see on the previous photo asked if he could take a photo. I went set it to 1/30 and f1.4, same as before. I handed the camera over. Boy: How do I use this camera? Me: Take that big ring in the front, turn it until it’s clear, and push the button Boy: (turns ring till infinity) It doesn’t turn anymore Me: Ok now turn it the other way until its clear. Boy: Ok, Click. Now, His photo is not dead on, however its much better than any of the photos I took within that set. The one that I took, i showed you my best effort, the other 2 was worst, they were focused on the couch. In conclusion, its only fair I should hand over all my cameras and assets to the 5 years old and develop film for him.
