Took my camera for a night out and drove by a flooded park. Decided to take some photos of flood and more importantly the spectators themselves. The rest is just bits and pieces of another day in this small town.
The park was flooded and surge of water in the river next to it, everyone is excited to see, never seen so many people there before.
Welcome to the park, I mean, Lake.
Water begins to rise over the deck slowly.
Never seen so many people on the bridge before. You can also see water coming back up from a drain.
Imagine the bottom of the water wheel sits 4 feet above the water in normal water level.
More people looking at the flood.
The deck is actually sits elevated on top of the river bank.
Villiage workers monitoring the water level, they decided they are going to pull out the sewer pumps.
Lots of speculators. This is small town entertainment.
One of the folks photographing with an Ipad.
Outside the bar.
I will not take no for an answer, I’ll just wait, perfect.
They saw me and they posed for the photo.
And now they don’t see me.
That almost look comical. Must be something interesting down that way.
Face lit by her phone, worked out good.
Sitting in a bar.
People still showing up by the creek after dark.
Peeping through the window into the pizza shop.
Nightly entertainment in the shop includes short videos on facebook.
A view into the kitchen area.
Beautiful sample from the PF Rokkor 58mm 1.4
Other than that some prefer to read a book in between orders.
Proud owner of the pizza shop. Talking outside on a smoke break, well my smoke break it is.
sweet!
i’m always amazed at your low light shooting
there’s no way i can shoot things handheld at reasonable ISO
do you push it a lil in post or what?? :O
To be honest this roll is shot and developed at ISO400 no tricks. But vodka helps! alright but if you look at it closely, f1.4 iso 400 you just have to look at the light that is on your subject, closely at the subtle changes and press the shutter at right available light. I am really not that impressive, I can not shoot 1/8 or 1/4 consecutively .
i can only do 1/focal length
i hv bad hands
😦
No sir you just have to drink up.
i only drink water
hahaha
